2 years of saving and it's finally here.

Suitcase: 28 pounds. I am a master packer.

It's bright red. I will never lose it. Also, it's Nautica and I find it adorable.

Tomorrow morning I leave for the greatest adventure of my life up to this point. I am both excited and terrified. It still hasn't quite sunk in that in about 36 hours I will be in Rome. I just can't picture myself there. All I know is that tomorrow at 8:15 am I will leave for the airport to take a very, very long flight. I never did like flying. That's why I packed extra Benedryl.

If all goes well, I will be updating this blog weekly with my adventures. Feel free to follow, comment, and be jealous. Wish me luck - Europe here I come!

On Fashion

"I know it sounds corny, but to me, fashion is a form of art...[T]hat's strictly what I find it: it's not necessarily about simply looking "good" or "chic". The designers that inspire me don't focus on designing clothes just to be cloths; the looks they design are art! WEARABLE art, which is more fun that pretty paintings in a museum that you can't touch.
